#ForteFemales At Home - Violante Nessi

Today's #ForteFemale is the creative and stylish Italian entrepreneur Violante Nessi. She launched her eponymous Italian womenswear brand, Violante Nessi, in 2018. Violante infuses every aspect of the brand with her distinctive aesthetics drawn from her Italo-Chilean heritage. Born in Bologna, Violante gained valuable experience at the Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler design studios in London and New York, which she joined after graduating from the prestigious Istituto Marangoni and Central Saint-Martins.

Which place would you travel to now if you could?

Bologna to see my family and then to Rome and Capri.

What's the first restaurant you're going to go to after the quarantine?

River Cafè in London and Pierluigi in Rome.

What’s the first outfit you’re going to wear post quarantine?

My Violante Nessi 'Matisse' trousers and the new 'Morandi' silk blouse!

What are your favourite beauty/spa places ?

The De Russie Spa in Rome and the Elixir Clinic in London.

What are you doing/ using to stay physically active and mentally well at the moment?

I work, cook, do some Yoga, eat and repeat!

What helps you get to sleep if you are wired but tired?

Magnesium supplements, they're my salvation.

What is your skincare regime during the lock-down (morning and evening)?

In the morning, I cleanse, use a serum, face cream and some lip balm. In the evening, I love to cleanse and put on a nice face mask.

Do you have one evening or more a week where you spend time masking/pampering? What do you do?

I alternate between different creams, as I don't want my skin to get used to the same routine. I love using a variety of face masks. I also like to exfoliate about one to two times per week.

What is the best beauty/skin advice you've ever been given?

Start using cream at an early age!
