Ascorbyl Palmitate (Also Known as Stabilised Vitamin C)
A stable form of Vitamin C, which has the ability to penetrate skin tissue and stimulate Collagen production. It also helps smooth wrinkles and fine lines, even skin tone and protect the skin from free radicals.
Azelaic Acid Derivative
A synergistic combination of Azelaic Acid and Glycine with balancing, clarifying and brightening properties.
A potent skin calming active found naturally in Chamomile.
A simple sugar found in fruit, which acts as an emollient in some of our products.
A multi-sensory moisturiser of natural origin and composed of polysaccharides, which thanks to its film-forming effect, maintains the protective film of the skin, moisturises and provides comfort (in vitro tests).
Sugar is a natural humectant, which means it draws moisture from the environment and locks it into the skin.
An antioxidant that works to prevent cell damage through fighting free radicals and protecting against environmental damage. The presence of amino acids helps to brighten the skin and delay visible signs of ageing.
An amino acid found in high concentrations in the skin, which is used to form Collagen. It also helps to form Glutathione, which has age-defying properties.
Green Pea Polypeptides
Pisum Sativum Extract is a potent fraction extracted from Green Pea Seeds, containing a high concentration of active polypeptides, that work to improve skin firmness and elasticity.
These botanical peptides function to enhance the excretion of important elasticity factors and signals to maintain and improve the structure of the skin. Additionally, they protect against proteases, such as skin elastase, which are degrading enzymes that break down the structural proteins in the skin resulting in wrinkles and sagging skin. Even at small concentrations, these peptides are proven to increase Collagen and Elastin synthesis, as well as improve and maintain surface hydration (in vitro and ex vivo tests). In vivo tests quickly revealed improved facial skin elasticity with a visible improvement in the appearance of skin ageing.
A potent humectant found naturally within the skin and able to bind up to 1000 times its weight in water, which enhances moisture retention and skin hydration. A powerful age-defying ingredient, it helps improve the skin’s suppleness and smoothness.
We have three different molecular weight bands of Hyaluronic Acid across our products:
Ultra-Low Molecular Weight (2-10kDa)
Considered the next generation of Hyaluronic Acid, this Ultra-Low Molecular Weight is derived from a stable oligomer of Hyaluronic Acid. It's proven to permeate and moisturise the skin at a faster pace when compared to classic forms of hyalurons due to its incredibly small size, providing a turbo-moisturisation (in vivo tests).
This hydrolysed Hyaluronic Acid is of optimal size to reversibly bind to cell membrane receptors that in turn activate cell metabolism and proliferation. The reversibility allows for multiple stimulations of the receptor resulting in a longer-lasting active effect. It also rapidly stimulates the Fibroblasts, the key cells of the dermis, to produce and release Elastin (in vitro tests). It improves the modulation of skin components through enzyme regulation (collagenase and elastase), which results in improved skin elasticity.
Low Molecular Weight (20-70kDa)
A low molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid with increased permeation through the skin compared to high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid. It's proven to help reduce wrinkles from the inside, rejuvenate the skin, provide below-the-surface hydration and in turn rehydrate skin cells over time.
High Molecular Weight (1500-1800kDa)
A high molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid designed to provide a barrier on the skin; it delivers immediate intensive hydration to the surface layers of the skin for an instant smoothing and firming effect.
A major component of Lecithin (from vegetables), which is an antioxidant and hydrates the skin.
A strong antioxidant, which protects the skin against free radicals. It also hydrates the skin and helps reduce the visible signs of ageing.
Myoxinol™ (also known as Hibiscus Seed Peptides)
An oligopeptide complex obtained from Hibiscus Esculentus Seed Extract that combats both the biological and mechanical formation of wrinkles through Botulinum toxin-like activity and by protecting the skin against free radicals.
This novel active combats wrinkles in a similar way to injectables, inhibiting the mechanical factors responsible for expression line formation on the face (in vitro tests). Myoxinol™ is also a proven antioxidant (in vitro tests), protecting against free radicals and preventing the breakdown of Collagen and formation of wrinkles. It activates the cell’s natural defences to prevent oxidative damage, thus biologically delaying the ageing of cells. Because of its collective efficacy against both mechanical and biological ageing factors, Myoxinol™ demonstrates long-term anti-ageing properties (in vivo tests).
Niacinamide (Also Known as Vitamin B3)
Helps to boost the natural barrier function, soothe the skin and minimise the visible signs of ageing.
Olive Oil Fractions (also known as Olive Oil Unsaponifiables)
Rich in Phytosterol and Squalene, the unsaponifiable part of the Olive Oil is a potent antioxidant fraction that helps protect against free radical damage and glycation. It prevents moisture loss and helps restore skin suppleness.
Panthenol (Also Known as Pro-vitamin B5)
A highly effective moisturiser renowned for its skin conditioning qualities. As a humectant, it attracts moisture to the skin and holds water in the skin, allowing the skin to produce moisture and hydrate from within. Panthenol creates a protective skin barrier, reducing the risk of dehydration and dryness in the skin. It also has soothing qualities.
A complex consisting of Butcher’s Broom Root Extract, Hydrocotyle Leaf Extract, Calendula Flower Extract, Horse Chestnut Seed Extract and Ammonium Glycyrrhizate from Licorice. It boosts microcirculation to improve evenness of skin tone and has proven anti-dark circle benefits. Rich in Saponosides and Flavonoids, it has an overall skin soothing, calming effect. Thanks to the synergistic action of its different components, it specifically improves the under eye area.
Prickly Pear Polysaccharides
Derived from Prickly Pear in Sicily, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Stem Extract contains polysaccharides which work to increase the skin’s antioxidant capacity, help reduce inflammation, moisturise the skin and prevent skin irritations.
In vitro tests confirm these Prickly Pear Polysaccharides help protect the skin from oxidative stress, and inhibit the production of a pro-inflammatory messenger, interleukins, therefore helping reduce redness and inflammation. Similar to Hyaluronic Acid, Prickly Pear Polysaccharides hydrate and protect the skin. In vivo tests revealed improved skin moisturisation over time and calmed, less irritated skin.
Pro-Ceramide Complex (Also Know as Phytosphingosine)
A pre-cursor for Ceramides, Pro-Ceramide contains skin-identical lipids that coordinate with the Tetra-Ceramide Complex to restore the protective barrier of the skin. It supports the function of the skin barrier by helping incorporate Ceramides and stimulating the production of Natural Moisturising Factors. This results in an enhanced moisturisation and protection, leading to less sensitive and less dry skin (ex vivo tests).
Upcycled Olive Seed Oil
An upcycled oil rich in phytosterols, polyunsaturated fatty acids (Linoleic Acid), made from the leftover olive pit. It has all the essential amino acids and a particular polyphenol, Nuzhenide; these compounds have antioxidant properties, protecting the skin with a regenerating, anti-inflammatory and moisturising effect.
Upcycled Red Grape Skin
A bio-liquefied organic Red Grape Skin from the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy that has strong antioxidant activity. Grape skins protect grapes from UV overexposure, pathogen attacks, environmental pollution and adverse weather conditions. Similarly, in skincare, they protect against the degradation of proteins such as Collagen, helping the skin remain toned and elastic.
Upcycled Wheat Bran
A bio-liquefied Wheat Bran from the Po River Valley in Northern Italy that acts on wrinkles and promotes skin elasticity. Due to its complex and highly bioavailable chemistry, it reactivates the miro-fibril synthesis that internally plumps up wrinkles and increases skin firmness.
Retinyl Palmitate (Also Known as Stabilised Vitamin A)
A more stable precursor to Retinol. Due to its potential to form Retinoic Acid, Retinyl Palmitate has regenerating and antioxidant properties. It speeds up cell turnover, resulting in smoother, more even and glowing skin. It inhibits Collagen breakdown, but also stimulates the production of new Collagen.
Rice Fractions (also known as Gamma Oryzanol)
A nutrient-rich extract isolated from Rice Bran Oil, packed with antioxidants like Ferulic Acids and Sterols, which help to protect the skin against free radical damage and help prevent the visible signs of ageing.
A natural, corn-derived, skin identical carbohydrate complex. It's a Prebiotic and often referred to as a 'moisture magnet' due to its ability to attract and bind hydration.
A derivative of amino acids, which is an important ingredient in ensuring that our skin retains water and remains hydrated.
Soy Fractions (Phytosterols)
A Soya Oil fraction that helps to replenish and protect the skin’s natural barrier.
Soy Protein Complex
A polypeptide based surfactant derived from Soy Proteins and Coconut fatty acids, which helps to gently cleanse and purify the skin.
A concentrated mix of four different Ceramides that work to replenish the skin’s natural Ceramides. Similar to Fatty Acids, Ceramides are lipids that are essential in forming a healthy skin barrier. With ageing and sun-damage, the skin’s natural source of Ceramides deplete resulting in drier skin, wrinkles and irritation. This unique Ceramide mix restores the skin’s protective barrier, locking in moisture which results in more supple-looking skin and less visible wrinkles (ex vivo tests).

Tocopherol (Also Known as Vitamin E)
A naturally-occurring Vitamin E with strong antioxidant properties, which help to fight free radicals. It also provides moisture and strengthens the skin’s protective barrier to prevent moisture loss.
Tocopheryl Acetate (Also Known as Stabilised Vitamin E)
A stable form of Vitamin E with antioxidant properties. It protects the skin from damage and has healing and moisturising benefits. It also strengthens skin barrier function.
A triple-blend of Italian Alpha Hydroxy Acids that gently exfoliates and nourishes the skin. This combination of high-quality Italian plant acids, including Tartaric Acid from Emilia-Romagna Grape, Malic Acid from Alto-Adige Apple, and Citric Acid from Sicilian Lemon, efficiently renews the skin, protecting Collagen and stimulating Fibroblasts to produce new fibrils.
Vegetable Protein Complex
A dermoprotective Plant Protein Complex enriched with hydroxyproline that mimics and supplements the skin's Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF) to help preserve skin hydration levels.
A mineral that helps to soothe, purify and balance the skin. It also has astringent qualities, helping minimise the appearance of large pores. It offers protection against UVA/UVB.
